The Longview Literary Festival will sponsor a Round Robin Story and Art Event to be held at the Longview Campus Center Student Commons October 8 – 14, 2010. The open-ended story will begin with a starter sentence and participants will complete the story using fiction, poetry, comic strips, personal experiences , drawings or whatever art form inspires them to continue the story. The completed masterpiece will be displayed at the 2010 MCC-Longview Literary Festival October 15 – 16, 2010.
“We hope students will just add on to the story, continuing from where the last student stopped,” said English instructor Susan E. Satterfield, and that “it will inspire people to come over to the festival.”
