‘Musical Comedy Murders’ at CAC

MCC – Longview hosts The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 in the Cultural Arts Center theatre starting Friday.

The comedy is about mysterious murders by the “Stage Door Slasher.”  Sliding bookcases and sliding passageways help “Slasher” to continue to murder. The murderer will be unmasked, but not before the audience has been in for the comedy side.

Show times are April 13-14, 19-21 at 7 p.m.  To purchase tickets in advance call 816-604-2691 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday at 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for general admission.

Student cast presents Neil Simon’s ‘The Good Doctor’

Students, faculty, friends, family and the like are sure to get a good laugh, as well as some thoughtful prose, in this weekend’s premier of “The Good Doctor” at Longview’s Cultural Arts Center. Longview freshman William Wallace stars as the struggling Russian author Anton Chekhov, who is eager to produce significant stories. As the protagonist writes out ideas for humorous stories, the audience gets to watch as the scenes in Chekhov’s mind play out before their very eyes. [...]

Dinner theater cast includes students, veteran actors

In April, BoBette’s at Longview Dinner Theatre will perform “Death Takes a Holiday” with a cast of local MCC students and community members.

The cast represent a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
