Phi Theta Kappa will hold a Valentine’s Day carnation sale on the first floor of the Campus Center on Feb. 14.  The sale is a fund-raiser for the honor society.

Vice President of Fundraising Rikki Atkinson said she tries to provide things students can enjoy and fundraise at the same time.

“We have red, pink and white carnation colors and they are going to be $2 each. If you come by our office (CC 102A) and pre-order them it will be $1.50. To pick up your pre-order come to the table set up during those times to get the carnations you pre-ordered,” said Atkinson.

Two tables will be in the lower level of the Campus Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The students who make up Phi Theta Kappa uphold high standards of academics. To become a Phi Theta Kappa member, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at MCC and have a 3.5 GPA.

For more information about the Valentine’s Day carnation sale or other fundraising activities contact Rikki Atkinson at ptkkktfundraising@gmail.com.

Come by The Current on the 14th to pick up a valentine card! We’re in LV CC 243.
