It’s official. Apple’s new tablet computer, the iPad, went on sale April 3across the country, but it did not make the splash Apple expected.
“We had a decent line all day,” said sales associate Dillon, at the Apple store in Kansas City, on premiere day. “There was a steady stream of customers.”
However, on the eve of the premiere at 2:40 a.m., no one was standing in line, nor were there any cars waiting for its opening, defying a tradition among techies. Continue reading →
