Every Fall, Longview hosts a Literary Festival. This year it will be held on October 12 and 13, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Longview Education Center. The keynote speaker will be William Trowbridge, Missouri Poet Laureate. The keynote address will be at 1 p.m. on October 12. There will be many other events happening during the festival such as, panel discussions, fiction readings, poetry workshops and open mic, just to name a few.
